Performance-Based Fire-Protection Design of Public Amenities with Restrained Personnel Activities

In this paper, performance-based fire-protection design is used for the fire-safety of public amenities with restrained personnel activities. these places, tourists’ activities are constrained in a limited space such as cockpit moving along track. Since it another typical scenario problem that cannot fully comply current mandatory codes and regulations, simulation analysis order to ensure fire could achieve performance objectives expected. Firstly, corresponding objectives, strategies simplified evaluation criteria brought forward paper. Then, through simulating smoke flow using computational fluid dynamics software FDS, effectiveness control strategy verified. Meanwhile, escaping environments scenes analyzed. Further, evacuation (Pathfinder) resorted simulate emergency evacuation. The efficiency total time consumed obtained. Finally, by analyzing similarities differences under different scenes, spread riding area can be effectively controlled, safe environment provided tourists.
